Episode Overview
In this thrilling semi-final, twelve of the season's 24 champions faced off for a chance to win a brand-new 2004 Mazda RX-8 and a spot in the finale. There, they would compete against the winners of the next semi-final for the coveted title of Fear Factor Grand Champion and a cash prize of $100,000. In the first stunt, contestants were placed in a Plexiglas box suspended over 100 feet in the air. Competing in pairs, separated by a divider, they had to sift through 20 keys on the wall to find the one that would unlock a box and allow them to pull a ripcord. The first to pull the ripcord would send their opponent plummeting as the floor dropped away, with the winners moving on and the others eliminated.
