Fear Factor (2001)

Episode Overview

In the first challenge, titled Boat to Boat, contestants raced across a lake in two high-speed boats, leaping between them to transfer flags from one vessel to the other. The two fastest men and women to move all six flags would progress to the next stage, while the rest would be eliminated. Next up was Worm Wine, where contestants had to stomp on night crawlers in a massive vat with their bare feet. Once enough worm juice collected in a glass at the bottom, they were required to drink it. The three who finished this task the quickest would make it to the finals, while the slowest competitor would be out. Finally, in the Matrix Truck Straddle, contestants walked along narrow ledges on two semi trucks traveling side by side at 40 miles per hour. They needed to transfer up to 12 flags from one truck to the other.
