Episode Overview

In the thrilling season finale, four parent-child duos faced off in a series of challenges. For the first stunt, the "Family Beam Walk," each team member had to traverse a balance beam over 100 feet in the air. The parent went first, unhooking five yellow flags, followed by the child who had to collect five orange flags. The three teams that gathered the most flags in the shortest time moved on, while the slowest team was sent home. Next up was the "Family of Roaches." The kids were sealed inside a box filled with Madagascar hissing cockroaches, while their parents used their mouths to transfer the roaches to a scale that would release three keys. The parent handed the keys to their child, who needed to find the right one to escape. The fastest team to complete this challenge won a 2004 Mazda 6 Sport.
