Spellbinder (1995)

Episode Overview

Paul heads back to the cave, bringing along a chain that will serve as a conductor to generate an electrical surge and help him find his way home. Meanwhile, his friends Alex and Katrina attempt to re-establish radio contact with him. They set up a two-way radio and successfully connect through Ashka's Eyestone. Realizing Paul is in danger, they send him a warning. Although Paul hears their message, he is already out of the labyrinth, but his concern for his new friends compels him to return and rescue them. The Spellbinders track him down and capture him, transporting him back to their castle. Ashka, aiming to usurp Correon’s position as Regent, spreads false news of Correon’s death at the hands of Marauders and is subsequently appointed to the Council of Regents in his stead.
