Episode Overview
Riana orchestrates for Paul to settle in her village and take on work in the fields, but he quickly finds the tasks to be overly strenuous. She clarifies that everything must adhere to the Spellbinders' guidelines. Doubting their supposed magical abilities, Paul discovers that the Spellbinders rely on science to project their authority, using power suits that harness electrical energy. He attempts to communicate with the local Spellbinder, Gryvon, revealing that he hails from another world and seeking assistance to return home. However, Gryvon accuses him of violating Spellbinder laws. Paul gets a chance to showcase his unique skills by creating fireworks to defend the village from marauding attackers, but Gryvon intervenes, taking him for judgment.
