Episode Overview
In this episode of Roadkill, the guys dive into the world of leaf blowers. Despite online experts claiming it wouldn’t work, Freiburger and Finnegan are determined to prove otherwise. They kick things off by purchasing a '78 Monza Spyder equipped with a 305 V8 and a four-speed manual transmission. Next, they head to Jeff Lutz's shop, a HOT ROD Drag Week competitor, to tune the car, upgrade it to a 350 engine, and dyno test it with five leaf blowers while indulging in plenty of burnouts. Finally, they hit the road to Wilmington, Ohio, for the East Coast Timing Association's Ohio Mile event to see if their leaf-blower experiment translates into real-world speed. In the end, the result doesn’t matter as much as the fun they have along the way—and, of course, more burnouts!
