In 1983, Susan Tice, a 45-year-old mother of four, was discovered brutally raped and murdered in her Toronto residence. Four months later, 22-year-old Erin Gilmour was assaulted in a similar fashion after returning home from her job. The two women had no connection to one another, and both of their cases lingered without resolution for many years.
