Episode Overview

In 2006, 17-year-old Brigitte Serre was on her first overnight shift at a gas station in Montreal when three men tried to rob the place. Tragically, Brigitte was killed during the botched heist, suffering 72 stab wounds. The perpetrator was later apprehended after a nationwide manhunt and received a 25-year sentence without the possibility of parole for his horrific crime. However, for the Serre family, the agony of their loss was compounded as the convicted killer repeatedly sought early release, bringing back painful memories of their daughter’s murder.
