Episode Overview

On a bright spring day, a man entered an office in downtown Toronto and began shooting. This triggered chaos at a nearby daycare and local schools, as everyone feared a gunman was still active. Upon the police's arrival, they found that the shooter had taken the lives of two individuals, Arash Missaghi and Samira Yousefi, before he turned the weapon on himself. While authorities initially withheld the motive, the shooter's wife revealed that 46-year-old Alan Kats was struggling to cope with the loss of their life savings due to an alleged mortgage fraud involving the two victims.
