Episode Overview
On November 9, 1932, in Chicago, FDR has just been elected president, signaling the likely end of Prohibition. That same evening, Ness and his team raid one of Capone's breweries. Concerned about job security, Agent Youngfellow asks Eliot if they’ll be out of work. Ness reassures him that the fight isn't over; Capone's empire extends beyond bootlegging to include narcotics, gambling, prostitution, and protection rackets. With Capone poised to encroach on legitimate businesses, Ness is set to meet with Mayor Anton Cermak to strategize on how to "clean up this town" before the Chicago World's Fair in spring 1933.
