The Untouchables (1959)

Episode Overview

On October 16, 1930, Jackson Parker, a petty bootlegger, has his sidekick Benny distributing bottles of illicit liquor across a college campus, stopping at student unions and fraternity houses. Parker, full of himself, warns Benny that he could easily toss him out like trash. He’s got grand ambitions, believing he’s about to meet with the notorious Frank Nitti. Meanwhile, at the Montmartre club, Nitti is addressing his gathered associates, confidently asserting, “Once we establish that pipeline, the feds will have to tear up every street in Chicago to uncover it,” prompting a burst of laughter from the crowd.
