Murder Maps (2015)
S04E01 Peter Manuel
Episode Overview
Peter Manuel was a notorious Scottish serial killer who claimed the lives of at least eight individuals between 1956 and 1958 in the Greater Glasgow region. After serving time for a series of sexual assaults, Manuel quickly reverted to his violent tendencies upon his release. Despite being a suspect multiple times, he managed to evade capture, often thanks to his parents providing him with alibis, particularly his father's unwavering support. Ultimately, he was apprehended for the brutal murder of a family in their home. During his trial, Manuel shockingly represented himself, but it was his mother's testimony that ultimately influenced the verdict.
