Episode Overview

Dr. Buck Ruxton, an Indian-born doctor, led a seemingly unremarkable life in Lancaster, masking a deep-seated jealousy. For years, he suspected his wife of being unfaithful, but in September 1935, his rage escalated to a horrifying level. In a fit of violence, he brutally murdered her and then killed their housemaid, who had witnessed the horrific act. To conceal their identities, Ruxton dismembered the bodies and discarded the parts across the Scottish border. The local authorities were baffled by the crime, and despite media frenzy, the victims remained unidentified until a unique piece of newspaper linked back to Ruxton's hometown revealed the truth.
