In the ‘90s, Cristina's sensational rise on Mississippi catapults her out of West Park and into fame. However, as her show's popularity skyrockets, she confronts painful encounters with her mother and decides to confront Adra to prove her worth to the community. Amid the show's battle for survival, Cristina starts to distance herself from her friends, turning to drugs and her toxic boyfriend, Angelo, to cope with the mounting pressure.
