Episode Overview

Just two days prior to Challenger's ambitious balloon journey from the Plateau, Veronica and Finn experience an unusual event that momentarily transports them into a ravaged future known as New Amazonia. Meanwhile, Roxton finds himself on the run from Conquistadors from the 17th century, while Marguerite is seized by Druids who intend to sacrifice her to prevent an imminent storm. As different realities overlap, Veronica realizes she must embrace her role as Protector and use her mother’s pendant, the Trion. Yet, as she contemplates sacrificing herself to save her friends, she worries whether unleashing the Trion’s power will ultimately protect or doom the Plateau.
