When Malone discovers a mysterious knife, he is suddenly thrust back to the grim East End of London in 1888, during the infamous Jack the Ripper murders. In this horrifying vision, he witnesses his friends entangled in the events as both accomplices and victims. Meanwhile, Veronica is approached by a renowned British physician seeking her assistance to locate his lost knife. Could he be Jack the Ripper? Alternatively, the Scotland Yard Inspector, who encounters Roxton and Marguerite, claims to have a way off the plateau. Captivated by his charm, Marguerite is keen to help him catch the Ripper but soon realizes she might be stepping into a lethal snare. Veronica must face the notorious killer to stop the cycle of violence from repeating on the plateau.
