Episode Overview

Sixteen of America's most hopeless cooks, featuring a sportscaster, a spirited grandmother, and a professional balloon artist, arrive at boot camp eager to overcome their culinary disasters. Mentors Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence begin by evaluating their skills, asking each recruit to prepare their signature dishes, only to be met with results that exceed their worst fears! In the first main dish challenge, the mentors show the recruits how to craft the essential breakfast meal, and unfortunately, the member from each team who produces the worst dish is eliminated.
