Connie, a former RAF servicewoman, is hospitalized for the removal of a polyp from her womb. Meanwhile, Carl is undergoing a keyhole procedure to fix torn cartilage in his knee, and Brad is scheduled to have a varicose vein stripped from his leg. All three are facing their respective surgeries, each with their own challenges.
