Eight years later, Reina learns that Nicolas is alive. He has assumed a new identity to seek vengeance on Victor, who wrongfully blamed him for the death of his daughter. After Reina suffers a car accident, she loses all memories of her past and is compelled to trust Victor, convinced that the baby she is expecting belongs to him and not Nicolas.
