The FBI's manhunt for the cunning serial killer Francis Dolarhyde escalates as Will Graham finds himself slipping into the disturbed mindset of the murderer. As he delves further into perilous territory, Will seeks the expertise of Hannibal Lecter to help craft a profile of Dolarhyde. Despite Alana Bloom's warning about the disastrous outcome of Will's previous collaboration with Hannibal, he feels he has no choice but to proceed. Meanwhile, a new woman enters Dolarhyde's life, complicating his dark narrative.
