Episode Overview
Fifteen years prior, Catherine played a crucial role in convicting John Mathers for the brutal rape and murder of a college student, whose body was discovered in a trash bag. Two other victims were also found in a similar manner, all connected to Mathers. As the episode begins, Mathers is on the brink of execution when he receives a stay due to new DNA evidence. While Catherine anxiously awaits the results of hair samples from the initial victim, tragedy strikes again as another girl from the same college is killed and disposed of in the same horrific way, raising questions about the true culprit.
