In this episode of Long Lost Family, we explore two poignant stories of children who were separated from their parents. Laurence Peat, a long-distance lorry driver, was adopted shortly after birth. Although he enjoyed a joyful upbringing with loving adoptive parents, he has struggled with feelings of rejection throughout his adult life, impacting his relationships. Determined to find his birth mother and alleviate this sense of unworthiness, Laurence has faced numerous obstacles with the information from his adoption file. He’s resolved to make one last effort to locate her and find closure. Meanwhile, Denise Temple is on a heartfelt quest to reunite with her daughter, whom she fought to keep nearly fifty years ago. Originally from Yorkshire, Denise now resides in Spain.
