Episode Overview

In this episode, Jason travels to Colombia, the birthplace of the global drug trade. The country continues to be a major player in cocaine trafficking worldwide. He heads to Buenaventura, a port city where a staggering quarter of the world's cocaine is funneled. Here, he encounters a troubled assassin grappling with the reality of his violent life. Jason also explores the innovative smuggling techniques developed by the cartels. Later, in Medellin, he meets Popeye, a former chief assassin for Pablo Escobar, who is infamous for his 257 murders.
