When Ann invites her parents to witness her first performance on Broadway, she discovers that her lines have been significantly reduced. In a bid to showcase her full role, she requests her father to shift his reservations to the next evening. However, she remains oblivious to the fact that the alterations to her part were made to make room for a surprise theater celebration organized by her dad.
