Bill's fondness for sweets leads to a diabetes diagnosis. When his doctor warns him about the possibility of losing his legs, he opts to use a wheelchair. Embracing this new reality, Bill connects with Thunder, an avid wheelchair sports lover. Their friendship blossoms, and Bill begins to see a brighter side of life. However, the situation takes a turn when Thunder discovers that Bill is not actually dependent on the wheelchair.
