Episode Overview

A sheep rustling incident leads to one victim, known for naming his flock, accusing Greengrass of the crime. Greengrass is taken to court and found guilty, but Nick uncovers inconsistencies in the evidence, realizing Greengrass was framed. Meanwhile, Alan Maskell, out on bail, runs away to London, unaware that his wife Sandra is experiencing a miscarriage. Nick, despite Kate's disapproval of returning to London, attends an interview for a position with the drug squad at Scotland Yard, which would promote him to Sergeant. He promises Sandra to find Alan and, upon arriving in London, discovers Alan at a nightclub. However, a police drug raid ensues, and Nick witnesses officers planting evidence, resulting in his arrest along with others. He later files a formal complaint against the lead officer, and soon after, he receives an offer for the drug squad position.
