Episode Overview
Glenda Marriot is pushing her aunt, Mrs. Barton, to sell her farm and relocate to a retirement community, but the elderly woman insists she’s capable of managing with the help of her farmhand, Jed Harrison. In her frustration, Glenda contemplates legal action to force the sale, but someone else seems determined to frighten Mrs. Barton into leaving. Meanwhile, Vernon Scripps has a new project in mind: he wants Bernie to build him a hot rod for racing. PC Ventress is giving Special Constable Harold Emney a tour when they spot Gina leaving the maternity ward at Ashfordly Hospital. Misinterpreting the situation, Emney jumps to conclusions, leading to rumors about Gina’s pregnancy spreading, except to Gina and the presumed father, Phil Bellamy.
