As the police look into the theft of cash from the local station, the culprits utilize a rented holiday caravan from the Vernons for their escape. Their plans quickly unravel when the caravan malfunctions and the stolen money is uncovered. Meanwhile, Craddock's wife arrives in Aidensfield, and after he confesses that she is more important than his job, they choose to reconcile and depart Aidensfield together, ready for a new chapter.
