Episode Overview

A newly widowed woman comes to Aidensfield to lay her husband to rest in their family grave, but an old feud with her late husband’s brother complicates matters as he refuses to assist. Vernon and David attempt to mediate, but things take a dangerous turn when they find themselves held at gunpoint. As the situation unfolds, it’s revealed that the coffin is stuffed with cash and the supposedly deceased man is very much alive, exposing a shocking fraud scheme. Meanwhile, Oscar finds himself in the spotlight when a notorious criminal, despised by many, returns to the village and is soon found murdered.
