Title: In the Bleak Midwinter Plot: In this holiday-themed episode of the pastoral drama, veteran musician Alan Price makes a special appearance as the leader of a struggling jazz ensemble. The Rio Trio heads to Aidensfield, where they've been hired by Vernon to perform at the community’s Christmas concert. Along the way, they offer a ride to a young woman, unaware she’s a single mother heading home for the holidays with her baby. Chaos ensues when she suddenly vanishes, leaving the band to care for the infant. Meanwhile, local barmaid Gina takes the spotlight during the concert, eager to wow the audience with her version of Winter Wonderland.
