Episode Overview

Alf is excited to show Nick the land he’s purchased for his future home, but his joy quickly fades when Claude arrives with heavy machinery. As Claude begins digging, the equipment gets stuck, prompting him to climb down into the hole. Unfortunately, he discovers he’s trapped on an unexploded bomb. The military is called in to handle the situation, while the police work to evacuate the entire village. One woman objects to leaving, insisting she can't abandon her home where a man has died in her bed—though he isn’t her husband. Meanwhile, a young boy goes missing, but Nick finds him hiding in a shed. Just as they reunite, the bomb detonates, leading to the shed's collapse. Thankfully, both Nick and the boy escape unharmed, but tragically, one soldier loses his life.
