Episode Overview
Blaketon gets wind of complaints regarding a pirate radio station blasting rock music. Although Nick and Phil have been enjoying the tunes, they reluctantly set out to locate the station, which they find is broadcasting from a ship beyond the 3-mile limit. Later, Nick, Gina, Phil, and Maggie visit a club where Maggie's brother works as a DJ; he’s also the DJ on the pirate ship. The situation shifts dramatically when Maggie's brother learns that some of his colleagues are dealing LSD. Joe Norten, back in Aidensfield after serving time for arson, tries to stay on the straight path but is lured into trying the drug, leading to his tragic fall from a building. Nick goes undercover as a DJ to investigate, and while the ship eventually drifts back within the limits and the dealers are apprehended, he surprisingly allows the pirate station to continue operating. Blaketon is frustrated when key evidence against Greengrass for illegal whisky production goes up in smoke.
