Tigers About the House (2014)
S01E02 Episode 2
Episode Overview
Spot and Stripe, the Sumatran tiger cubs, are now eight weeks old and have begun to explore Giles Clark's home, proving to be quite the handful. These cubs represent a beacon of hope for the future of wild Sumatran tigers, and Giles believes that nurturing them at home during their first four months will enhance their chances of survival and raise awareness for tiger conservation. He travels to the Sumatran rainforest, where he witnesses the grim realities of poaching and persecution firsthand. Back home, the cubs thrive as Giles feeds them meat, prompting more mature tiger behaviors, and he encourages their growth by letting them venture outside for the first time.
