Clare discovers that Jenna has taken yet another ex-boyfriend, Jake, who has been invited to his birthday dinner. Seeking an escape from her troubles, especially since her father’s place is cramped, Clare decides to move in with a group of friends she’s met before. Meanwhile, Connor joins the football team but struggles to find his place, particularly with Mo. Fiona spends time with Imogen but soon realizes she has feelings for her, prompting her to suggest that Imogen should date Eli instead.
