Imogen is feeling overwhelmed after losing her dog, Eli, and the pressure of finishing the set while managing her relationship with Fiona. To focus on her father, she decides to skip school. As her father's condition deteriorates, she discovers he has dementia and chooses to involve her mother in their lives, eventually returning to school. Meanwhile, Jake confesses his feelings for Katie, and they begin a relationship, but Dallas vandalizes their garden.
