Episode Overview
Stranded on a jungle planet, the team finds themselves isolated by Nephestis, who has falsely accused Gus of treachery. The local Thorn aliens are suffering from a disease that Gus fears he may have inadvertently caused during a past mission. While the others decide to venture out with the Ancient chrysalis, they are ambushed by the Tlak'khan but manage to evade capture as the chrysalis hatches, releasing the winged Ancient. The Tlak'khan leader, De'kyll, takes the Thorn village hostage, prompting Bonner to surrender. However, the Ancient intervenes, and the cadets capture the Tlak'khan, though De'kyll escapes. The Ancient, who learns English through Seattle, asks for assistance and takes the name Draga. Draga heals the sick Thorn but has no knowledge of the Stargates, choosing to stay with the team.
