Episode Overview
After a harrowing chase by strange creatures and a stop at an icy planet, the team starts to question the purpose of their mission. Draga opens a portal to "where they wish to go," landing them in the Yucatan on Earth. There, a local professor, working for Horace Van Gelder, reveals she has found a new gate. Meanwhile, the shapeshifter Nephestus, posing as Grimes, is collaborating with Van Gelder and learns of the team’s presence when they reach out to Stargate Command. Disguised as Stoneman, Nephestus feigns friendliness and promises assistance, but instead ambushes them with Da'kyll and his Tlak'khan. Sensing something amiss, Draga and Gus manage to escape just as their friends return to help them. Forced to flee through the Gate once again, the team goes on the run, while Nephestus and Van Gelder depart with the Tlak'k
