Episode Overview

As the younger team members share memories of their birthdays, Ec'co reflects on his own troubled past. The team persuades Gus to take Ec'co back to his home planet. However, an electrical storm disrupts their Stargate, leading to their capture by the hostile Hrathi, who are aware of Gus’ supposed betrayal. Meanwhile, the rest of the team devises a plan to harness lightning to recharge the Stargate while the Tlak'khan launch an offensive against the Hrathi. Gus plays a key role in repelling the attackers and discovers a stash of data crystals that turn out to be decoys. Just then, one of the Hrathi reveals his shapeshifting ability. Gus and Ec'co successfully pass a test and are given the authentic Tlak'khan data crystal they were seeking.
