Episode Overview

Following a narrow escape from a flash flood, Seattle discovers a creature resembling a kitten and decides to call it Flotsam. The little being quickly devours their food supplies and continues to grow at an astonishing rate. Despite the team's attempts to train him, nothing seems to work, leading them to consider abandoning Flotsam. Just then, Da'kyll and his Tlak'kahn mercenaries arrive, prompting Flotsam to alert them by tossing a grenade as if playing fetch. Another flash flood suddenly hits, sweeping away the Tlak'kahn, and Seattle reluctantly agrees to leave Flotsam behind.
