Episode Overview

Joe is gearing up to race an antique snowplane from the 1940s, a vintage machine powered by an airplane engine and lacking brakes. The outcome of his adventure on the icy expanse of Great Slave Lake is anyone's guess. Meanwhile, Justin and Cory, part of the water bomber team, face bureaucratic hurdles as they attempt to relocate their fire-fighting planes from Turkey to a maintenance hub in Wales, jeopardizing their chance to meet rock legend Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. Adding to the chaos, Rampie and overconfident pilot Chris Staples make a critical blunder aboard a C-46 flight, while AJ narrowly avoids disaster with a last-minute overshoot.
