Flint guides a wagon away from the train, heading towards their new residence. Along the way, they encounter an elderly man selling a load of uncured buffalo hides. He seems amiable, and they decide to invite him to join them on their journey. However, Flint can't shake the feeling that the man's friendliness might be a bit too much.
