Duke Le May, a fugitive from the law, infiltrates the wagon train using a false identity. When a deputy arrives to take him into custody and ends up dead, Flint is tasked with escorting Duke to the nearest fort for a trial. However, Flint finds ways to delay their trip, complicating the situation further.
