Adams' "distant" cousin Horace shows up with aspirations of becoming a wagon master. Armed with his trading expertise, he manages to lure away both the crew and vendors from Adams. However, when Adams challenges him about the tough choices he will need to face on the journey, Horace begins to have doubts about his ambitions.
