Charlie's life takes a transformative turn when he discovers an injured buffalo and forms a bond with the creature. He names the buffalo Clyde and brings him along on the wagon train as his pet. However, not everyone shares his enthusiasm, as the presence of Clyde creates a series of challenges and frustrations for the rest of the group.
