Henry Ludlow, a rancher facing challenges, is resolute in preventing his daughter Judy from marrying Antone Rose, a Basque sheepherder. To thwart the union, he sells his land and sets off on a wagon train heading west. However, when Antone discovers Henry's plan, he decides to follow the wagon train, determined to win Judy's heart and marry her.
