Episode Overview

Duke arrives in Stark Bluff searching for an old friend and his wife who once traveled with him on the wagon train. To his dismay, he learns that his friend has died, and his wife is now under the control of the merciless saloon owner, Zeb Stark, who dominates the town along with the judge and sheriff. When Duke attempts to rescue her, he is wrongfully accused of murdering a deputy. Stark seizes the opportunity to use Duke’s life as a bargaining chip, compelling the woman to marry him.
