Wagon Train (1957)

Episode Overview

As Hawks falls ill and the Comanches loom as a threat, an Army troop arrives to support the wagon train. The soldiers seem vastly outnumbered by the Indians, prompting the troop's lieutenant to reassure Hale and Coop with a false claim of a relief column on the way. Tensions escalate when a sergeant from the troop spots Clay Shelby, a young man traveling with his pregnant wife, and identifies him as a deserter from the Civil War, holding him responsible for his brother's death.
