Hale unexpectedly runs into his former love, Chottsie Gubenheimer, at a gambling establishment, where she’s in a heated dispute with the owner. He invites her to leave with him and join the wagon train. However, Hale soon discovers that bringing Chottsie along comes with more complications than he anticipated.
