Pan'er enlists Sanniang and Zhao Di to sell her hairpins as they prepare for a fresh start. However, Du Changfeng convinces her to hold onto the hairpin and offers his family heirloom to aid them. Meanwhile, Yin Zhang spots Sanniang with Pan'er's hairpin and grows concerned that there may be issues with the teahouse they purchased, prompting him to offer his assistance.
