Bat unexpectedly inherits a casino from a former foe and quickly uncovers the grim reason behind it. When he arrives in town, he finds out that the casino is $3000 in arrears on its mortgage. To make matters worse, the previous owner was murdered by the town marshal, who also holds the mortgage.
